Product Description

If the air is not filtered, the suspended dust in the air will be sucked into the cylinder, which will accelerate the wear of the piston group and the cylinder. Larger particles entering between the piston and the cylinder can cause a severe "cylinder pulling" phenomenon, which is particularly serious in a dry and sandy working environment. The air filter is installed in front of the carburetor or intake pipe, serving to filter out dust and sand particles in the air to ensure that a sufficient amount of clean air enters the cylinder.
Working principle
1.The filter element is the core component of the filter, made of special materials. It is a vulnerable part and requires special maintenance and care.
2. After the filter has been in operation for a long time, the filter element inside has intercepted a certain amount of impurities, which will lead to an increase in pressure and a decrease in flow rate. At this point, timely cleaning is required.
3. When cleaning, be sure to pay attention to not deforming or damaging the filter element.
Generally, the service life of the filter element varies depending on the raw materials used. However, as the usage time increases, impurities in the air will clog the filter element. Therefore, PP filter elements usually need to be replaced every three months. The activated carbon filter element needs to be replaced every six months. However, since the fiber filter element cannot be cleaned, it is generally placed at the rear end of PP cotton and activated carbon for use, and is less likely to cause clogging. Ceramic filter elements can usually be used for 9 to 12 months.
The filter paper in the equipment is also a key factor. The filter paper in high-quality filtration equipment usually adopts ultra-fine fiber paper filled with synthetic resin, which can effectively filter impurities and has a strong dirt-holding capacity. According to relevant statistics, a bus with an output power of 180 kilowatts has approximately 1.5 kilograms of impurities filtered out by its filtration equipment during a 30,000 kilometers of travel. In addition, the equipment also has high requirements for the strength of the filter paper. Due to the large air flow, the strength of the filter paper should be able to withstand the strong air flow, ensuring the filtration efficiency and extending the service life of the equipment
